SUNBRIGHT LY-400MA is a Lysine branched (2-arm) maleimide-PEG with a total molecular weight of 40 kDa (20 kDa per PEG arm). The maleimide group site-specifically reacts with thiol groups on bioactive molecules (e.g., proteins, peptides, and other biologics), resulting in highly efficient and quantitative PEGylation. Lysine branched PEGs have already been successfully utilized in several marketed PEGylated drugs, such as PEGASYS®, MACUGEN®, and CIMZIA®, for more than a decade, demonstrating their practical utility and reliability in therapeutic applications.
