SUNBRIGHT ME-3E200FH-TS is a pH-triggered releasable PEG derivative incorporating an acid-cleavable acetal linker, designed to release conjugated pharmaceutical substances under mildly acidic conditions (pH 4–6), such as in endosomes, lysosomes, or tumor tissues. It consists of a 20 kDa PEG chain connected to an acid-cleavable linker that has an NHS carbonate group as a functional group.
The acetal linker remains stable at physiological pH (7.4) while selectively cleaving under acidic environments to trigger drug release. The release rate can be fine-tuned by modifying the substituents on the benzene ring. ME-3E200FH-TS offers excellent serum stability and storage stability, making it particularly suitable for targeted drug delivery systems requiring precise control of release timing in specific biological environments.
